NUST HQ and IGIS announce the admissions in Post about the Graduate Programs annually in May-June through advertisements in newspaper and/or the information is uploaded on the university/institute website. This includes the admission details and procedure, entrance test date, and examination centre etc.
The application complete in all respects must reach Registrar NUST, Headquarters National University of Sciences and Technology, Tamiz-ud-Road, Rawalpindi, Pakistan either by hand or by post, not later than 1200 hours, on the date notified by the University in the press.
The applicants will be required to
appear in a NTS (GAT) Test or GRE (General) GMAT / MCAT(as applicable)
. On the basis of the test scores, NUST merit is determined. However,
the applicants of MS in GIS & Remote Sensing need to appear at
an interview scheduled in August at
IGIS Campus, Islamabad . The date of interview is intimated via phone
call/letter/email. The final merit is determined
on the basis of NTS or GRE test score, academic background and interview
results.
The finally selected candidates of MS in GIS & Remote Sensing are informed by NUST HQ. The finally selected candidate must produce his/her original certificates/degrees and while reporting at IGIS, Islamabad for joining the course of study.
