Multiple Faculty Positions opening
In order to strengthen the field of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) and to introduce this system in policy making and planning, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) established “Institute of Geographical Information Systems” in 2004.
Opportunities: IGIS has now openings for several faculty positions at Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor level.
Requirements:
- A Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment and Post-Doctoral experience in desirable.
- Proven skills, expertise and qualifications for a blend of GIS and Remote Sensing with Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Socio-Economic and Infrastructure Development, Geoinformatics or any other disciplines.
- Highly motivated and research oriented individuals.
- Previous teaching and/or research experience in the above mentioned disciplines.
Designation and salary packages commensurate with individual’s qualifications and experience will be offered.
