Technological advancements in infrastructure management have improved the efficiency of providing services at community level and inform decision making in accordance with the particular problem. In this context GIS integrated with other technologies is designed for Jaranwala Tehsil, Faisalabad District for planning, promote innovative infrastructure financing and institutional arrangement. The main goal of the study is to design and develop a prototype GIS for Municipal Management as Municipal Management Information System (MMIS). This prototype helps in maintaining the development of a city in an orderly manner to improve the quality of life.
