After having ascertained the overall eligibility, the standing/ merit of a candidate will be decided on the basis of weightage allotted to various aspects.

The vacancies will be filled up from the merit list based on NTS / GRE (General) score, academic record and personal interview. The minimum threshold for these tests will be decided on receipt of results from the candidates and NUST Academic Council unanimous decisions. The maximum number of candidates in any one listed disciplines is three (3). If it happens that in any one listed discipline seats can not be filled, the un-filled seats will be allocated on unanimous departmental admission committee’s recommendations to other listed disciplines, based on the country’s needs in a particular year.
